Day 01 - Departure from Hikkaduwa to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

- Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is a home to orphaned and injured elephants, where you can witness them bathing and being fed.
Lunch - Visit Dambulla Cave Temples
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant en route to Dambulla. On the way if you like you can visit Spice gardens at Matale.
After lunch, head towards Dambulla Cave Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Explore the magnificent cave complex which houses stunning Buddhist statues and paintings dating back to the 1st century BC.
Over Night Stay at Sigiriya
- Proceed to Sigiriya, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from Dambulla.

Day 2 - Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress
- Start your day early to climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also known as Lion Rock.

- After exploring Sigiriya and its surroundings, start your journey back to The Residence Hikkaduwa.
- You can make stops for lunch and refreshments along the way.
